Point Pour Point Cafe

Living in Marutamachi area in Kyoto, there’s this one cafe that I love to visit. Although it’s small, it’s near my home, and the cakes are nice. The name is Point Pour Point.

Located near the Japanese Red Cross Kyoto Daini Hospital on the corner of the street, you can see the small cafe easily. With small space and few seats only (only 2 tables for 3 persons and 2 tables for 4 persons), often the cafe is crowded with people; not only people who eat at the cafe, but also who buy cakes (or cookies and macaroons) to take home. But if you see the cafe is empty, I recommend to try this place. πŸ˜€

The cafe is cozy and comfy I must say.

Besides cake and cookies, they also sell bread and some lunch menu (like soup and such). One of my favorite is their croissant. Served warm and scrumptious. :9 Perfect with a cup of coffee.

One of my favorite cake is their Strawberry Mille-feuille. The custard and cream is not too sweet, and the strawberry is fresh. I’m usually not fond with creamy cakes, but I always love the cakes here in Point Pour Point. πŸ˜€

Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a place to just sit and have a nice cup of coffee with a slice of cake, alone with a book or together with your close ones, why not try this cafe? πŸ˜€

Here’s the location for the cafe.

I guess that’s all for now, see you next time!  Have a nice day! πŸ˜€

Bye-bye~!

Sincerely, B.N.D.R.
