So, there’s this small cafe that interest me lately. The name is Cafe Yell (カフェエール in Japanese).

A small cafe at the side of the street on Horikawa area. The sign is simple, only says it has Morning Set (from 8 AM ~ 12 AM) and Afternoon Set (from 2 PM ~ 5 PM).

Curious, I tried to enter it together with my BF. We decided to try the Afternoon Set first, since we’re late for the Morning Set.

The cafe interior was simple, and not much chair / table there. Only few seats on the counter (where you can see and talk with the Master directly), near the window, and some table seats. We decided to take a seat near the window.

I decided to try the Fruit Cake set with Ice Coffee, while my BF tried the Cheese Tart Cake with Hot Coffee.

It taste good actually. The cake was simple and fluffy, and the fruits (I think it’s peach and apple) is fresh. :9 My kind of taste for fruits cake.

I don’t know how the cheese tart cake taste since I’m not to fond with cheese cakes. But the coffee is nice. It would be nice to sit there with a note book and spending my time writing something while sipping coffee I guess. 🙂

Feeling satisfied, few days later we decided to try the Morning Set. 🙂

This time I try to order the Toast Set ones while my BF tried the Cheese Toast Set. 😀 As usual I ordered Ice Coffee while my BF ordered Hot Coffee. The Master told that for the toast, I can choose between toast with jam or with butter. I’m not into butter, so I ask for the one with jam.

Overall, the taste is nice. And of course, the coffee too. And what makes me fall in love instantly with this Morning Set is their hard boiled egg.

Living in Japan for years, makes me realize that it’s so hard to find hard boiled egg. They usually give us soft boiled egg, and I’m not to fond with soft boiled egg. So finding one where I can get hard boiled egg even when I don’t have to ask for it, is like some treasure for me. 😀

Definitely will go there again next time! X9
